Frankenstein's Castle Of Freaks (1973) $19.99
aka's: Terror! Il Castello Delle Donne Maledette/Monsters of Frankenstein
See the battle of the monsters, Goliath versus Ook! South Pacific star Rossano Brazzi plays the crackpot Count Frankenstein, whose latest creature is a goofy, domeheaded Neanderthal man he's brought back to life and cleverly named Goliath (Loren Ewing). Typical of monsters, Goliath also has the hots for Frankenstein's new squeeze, Krista (Christiane Royce), who likes to bathe in milk. Things turn ugly however when Genz (Michael Dunn), a horny necrophile dwarf, is expelled from the castle for leaving his footprint at the scene of a recent grave robbery and promptly makes friends with Ook (Boris Lugosi), a second Neanderthal man who just happens to be passing through town. Out for revenge, Genz lets Goliath loose to go head to pointy-head with Ook in a good old-fashioned monster rumble.... Also with Gordon Mitchell. (Uncut widescreen import print.)

Michael Dunn was a concert pianist at age 15, until he suffered from chrondrodystrophy, which crippled his elbows and ruined his career as a pianist. He then took up acting.

Rumors of Dunn committing suicide have been unfounded. He did develop an acute alcohol problem and liver cirrhosis probably hastened his early death. The general consensus is that he died of heart failure in his sleep, as a result of the disease, while filming on location in England on August 29th, 1973. He was 39.

Dunn was buried in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, by his parents, as they thought they would be moving there. However, they both died in their native state of Oklahoma and were buried in Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, Oklahoma. In July of 2007, three of Dunn's cousins, his closest living kin, were able to have his remains moved from Florida to Oklahoma, where he was buried in the same cemetery as his parents.
