At 11 a.m. on March 20, 1991, Del Santo's four year old son, Conor (the father was singer Eric Clapton), fell to his death from a 53rd story window of a New York City, high rise apartment. This tragedy was the inspiration for Clapton's award winning song, Tears in Heaven.
