Aliens from a dying world plot to conquer Earth by praying on man's superstitions. Bringing two dead scientists (Michael Rennie and Karin Dor) back to life, they use their knowledge to re-animate various Earth monsters, including the Werewolf Waldemar Daninsky (Paul Naschy), Frankenstein's monster (both played by Jacinto Molina), the mummy Tao-Tet and the Vampire Count de Meirhoff.
NOTE: This is the English language version of Dracula Jagt Frankenstein, also available here at SSV.
This film was to be Michael Rennie's last screen appearance, filmed just prior to his death from emphysema and heart failure on June 10th, 1971.
Rennie had lived his final years in Geneva, Switzerland and in a stroke of irony, collapsed and died at his mother's home in England, while visiting her to attend his brother's funeral.
A heavy smoker, Rennie had respiratory problems for many years. During the run of the Broadway comedy Mary, Mary in the early 1960's, he had to admit himself in the hospital several times for oxygen treatments. His voice had to be dubbed in the 1968 film The Battle Of El Alamein, as well as this film and other final appearances, due to his chronic health problems.
NOTE: This film came from a very rare TV print in very nice picture quality which aired back in 1984 and is the best English language version of this film currently available anywhere. Don't waste your time and money looking elsewhere, get the best version right here.

This film introduces another monster that would wind up in the Gojira series, Manda, a giant sea serpent. It was reportedly director Ishiro Honda and special effects director Eiji Tsuburaya who decided to give Manda a dragon-like appearance, because 1964 was to be the upcoming year of the dragon.
This film was released in Japan on December 22nd, 1963, but was not released in the U.S. until March 11th, 1965.
NOTE: This is the very rare A.I.P. English language version of this film, which features a much superior audio dub than all other English language releases.

In April 2011, the body of Yvette Vickers was discovered in her home in California by a neighbor who entered her home after noticing that Vickers' mailbox was full of yellowing envelopes and cobwebs. Once in the house, her neighbor moved through stacks of clutter before discovering the mummified body in an upstairs room with a space heater still turned on. The local coroner estimated that Vickers had been dead for a period of time between several months and a year before the body was discovered.

Following the death of his sister, who was co-director with him of the Cowan Research Center in Pasadena, Dr. Frederick Munson was ousted and replaced by his widowed brother-in-law, Dr. Edmund Redding. Through Redding's son, Timmy, Munson has been able to learn of a secret project at the institute involving the use of hypnosis to regress subjects to past lives, which information Munson passes along to a friend, Dr. John Janney. To a newspaper editor-friend, Munson relates what happened next: Through hypnotic regression, Redding established that Ann Taylor was a reincarnated Aztec woman and, via her recovered memories, was able to find hidden chambers in the Great Pyramid of Yucatan, which store a treasure of the ancient Aztecs. However, the treasure was guarded by a living mummy, which killed Redding but was captured and brought back to Pasadena by Redding's assistants. As Munson conspired to regain control of the Cowan Institute, Janney plotted to steal the mummy and learn its secrets. Three children, two boys and a girl, stumble upon a flying saucer. The boys both step into the ship without hesitating and are whisked away to a planet in Earth's orbit, but on the exact opposite side of the Sun. Inhabiting this planet are two women (named Barbella and Flobella) who hypnotize the children to discover they fantasize mainly about Gamera, their favorite super turtle. It is later revealed that the spacewomen simply want to eat the brains of the two kids. Back home, no one will believe the little girl's story of alien abduction, not even Officer Kondo. Finally, Gamera rescues the children while fighting Guiron, a monster with a giant knife-like head which can also fire deadly cutting projectiles. After a fierce battle, Gamera eventually kills Guiron while doing gymnastics on a parallel bar and then finally is able to take the children back home.
